There is an abundance of recreation and entertainment activities available in the Craik community. Following is a list of what, when, where and contact information to keep you busy all year 'round!

 

Craik Memorial Rink - Skating and Curling Facility

Skating Rink (306-734-2204)

·        is of professional size and quality

·        ice surface is artificial with tractor zamboni

·        4 full size dressing rooms with a referee's room as well

·        full kitchen situated in a large lobby area

·        sound system with digital time-clock

·        hockey and public skating (times vary)

·        figure and power skating lessons are available

·        rink facility is available for rent for hockey tournaments or private skating

            functions at the following rates:
         $75 per hour or$300 per day

·        3 full size sheets of artificial ice

·        located 1.6 km north east of Craik

·        season runs May 15 to Sep 15

·        30 amp, 15 amp and non-powered sites

·        large outdoor swimming pool

·        2 camp kitchens and concession stand

Craik and District Golf Club

·        located 1.5 km north east of Craik

·        season runs approximately May 1 to Sep 15

·        9 holes, grass greens, watered fairways, valley scenery

·        full club house facilities located in the Craik Eco-Centre

·        men's, ladies and youth golf nights and tournaments

·        driving range

·        golf carts available for rent

·        course is also available for rent for private or corporate events

Craik Dam (Arm River Reservoir)

·        located approximately 2 km north east of Craik and just across the road from the

                 Craik Regional Park 

·        fishing and recreational boating

·        boat launch facility

·        ice fishing in winter months

·        hosts the "Build, Bail and Sail" each summer in July!

Craik Branch of the Palliser Regional Library

·        located in the old town hall, main street Craik

·        hours of operation:

·        Tuesday 10-12 a.m. / 1:30-5 p.m. / 7-9 p.m.
         Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 1:30-5 pm

·        closed Sunday, Monday and Saturday

·        located approx. half way between Craik and Aylesbury along the No. 11 highway

Three Rivers Trail Association

·        was established to encourage local tourism between Last Mountain Lake and Lake

               Diefenbaker in Central Saskatchewan

Informative and Interesting

The Craik Memorial Rink was built between 1947 and 1949. There was a special guest speaker at the opening ceremonies  in December of 1949. “WHO” was that special

guest?     John Diefenbaker!!

who went on to become the Prime Minister of Canada; And he was from Saskatchewan!
