	Area: TRTA (The Three Rivers Trail Association) was established to encourage local tourism between Last Mountain Lake and Lake Diefenbaker in Central Saskatchewan. This area is drained by three rivers and their tributaries, namely the Arm River, the Qu'Appelle River and the South Saskatchewan River, thus inspiring the name of the Association. Objectives: The TRTA promotes the beauty of valley vistas, the prairie geography and the 'spirit' of the land. Educational aspects will give an understanding and appreciation of grassland ecology by identifying points of interest and associated trails in glacial pothole country, sand hills, wetlands, and old glacial drainage channels. Birding sites and trails will be identified, and heritage sites will be identified and described.

Markers: Trails will be marked with the TRTA Logo, a pioneer covered wagon. The No.1 Trail Marker is
opposite the gate at the Craik
Regional Park. The trail was officially opened on 18 May, 2003 by Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association (SPRA).

Potential: Trail staging areas have been identified throughout the TRTA area, and trails are being developed for hiking, biking, and horses (no motorized traffic). The staging areas would also be excellent meeting places for Birders and Seniors tours, all accessible by decent roads.
